I wish there were an option to get email notifications if people are trying to have a conversation with me in one of the problem threads. As it stands, there's not much chance to get the attention of anyone who solved a problem more than a few days ago. I see "potential conversations" die quite often this way, and in general I'd love to see cases where someone replies to my old post to add an extended insight / ask for clarification about my method / etc.
I think there could be multiple options: a) no notifications, b) notify me if someone quotes me, c) notify me if someone mentions my name.
If we want to get fancy there could also be an option to limit emails to 1 per day; that one "digest" email could list all times I got quoted/tagged. However I don't think this option is too important for most users since it seems pretty rare to have 10 people quoting the same post in a day. If some top performer gets quoted way too often they can always turn off the notifs if they want.
(Alternatively: If there's already some good way to achieve this goal, then please let me know how!)

Re: Email notifications for forum post replies?
We made a decision back in 2014 that Project Euler would not store any personal information, like email addresses. So sadly there is no option to have email notifications.
