Sure we can. I have unlocked all four, solved them except #4, which is far more difficult than the others. I know what needs to be done, though how to manage it efficiently eludes me for the moment.

And no, I still have no idea under what conditions they unlock, but I have the impression that lately they have been unlocked for a lot more people than before. Or so it seems.

Edit: solved #4 now, so all of them done.

It seems unclear to me how bonus problems are unlocked, but unless we are using this thread here to discuss clarifications on the bonus problems (as in the problems themselves and not how to unlock them), this thread should be moved to a different forum. Also, the first post is supposed to be titled with the problem number and include a link to the problem.

Funny thing: when I go to https://projecteuler.net/progress;show=bonus I see nothing.

When a friend of mine goes to https://projecteuler.net/progress=godmar;show=bonus they see that I have 2 bonus problems.
havebonus.png
UI bug?

(BTW, the forum also doesn't appear to be working. Instead of showing the screenshot havebonus.png inline, it shows the first one twice. Then the second as an attachment. But I understand this forum uses different software.)

Part of what is happening is quite normal. As you've not unlocked any of the bonus problems, you are not able to see the images/titles of any of them on your friend's profile page. That is, you can only see the status of bonus problems on a friend's profile if you have unlocked the problem yourself, otherwise it would be giving away details about the problem.

Your friend has unlocked the first two, so when they visit your profile page it shows the status of those problems with you. Hovering confirms that they have solved it, but you haven't. However, it should be clearer, as it looks like it's been unlocked but not solved, whereas it hasn't actually been unlocked yet. So I've changed it so that it shows question marks if the friend hasn't unlocked it yet, even if they've unlocked it themselves. There are so many combinations of conditions that my head is spinning! I hope that is clearer now and I've not broken something else in the process.
