info about previous version of projecteuler site

Hi,
I would like to know, why did you guys change the looks and feel (design and fonts) of the pdf files, that explained the problem and solution.
I actually came back here to ask, how those pdf's were created in the first place. I was disappointed when I saw in the new site. It is a horrible unreadable un-formatted document with a horrible font.
If someone can tell me, how the pdf's were made in the previous version of the site, then it would be nice.

As far as I know there hasn't been changed anything to the pdf's.
And I would certainly not call them horrible, unformatted and what you were calling them further.
Are you sure you are referring to the same documents?
