Also, I have just recieved "One Percenter" achievement but currently I only have 17 problems solved, so I think that this badge should be taken away

Yes, there are likely to be side effects like this. It may be that this particular award will resolve itself once the system is working again and you solve another problem, but let's wait until other things are working again first.kbijoch wrote:Also, I have just recieved "One Percenter" achievement but currently I only have 17 problems solved, so I think that this badge should be taken away

I cannot see friend list either.
I tried to add my old friend using their key then it showed that the friend exists already.

Re: Errors/Warnings/Bugs
All these problems seem to be a result of the underlying issues with statistics etc that everyone is seeing. We're sorry that we don't have a solution at the moment, but it is being worked on.jiyou wrote:I cannot see friend list either.![]()

Thank you to the team.
It's not clear everything is quite back to normal yet, so don't be surprised if a few things aren't working right now.

Re: Errors/Warnings/Bugs
euler,
For the past couple of days, whenever I sign-in to my account, I get the notification that I've received the 'Easy Prey' award. I received that award quiet a while ago and it keeps repeating every time since.
Also a request. 'The Guru' award lists the solvers who have received that award. Can you also include the problem in which they've received that award? I think it'll be nice.
Thanks and Regards

Re: Errors/Warnings/Bugs
I'm unable to replicate that problem with test accounts. I tried signing-in, signing-out, and back in again, and the "Easy Prey" award didn't disappear and/or did it get re-awarded. Does this happen if you sign-out and sign back in immediately?
Unfortunately with The Guru award the data required to determine if you have earned it is gathered when you visit your own progress page. There is no record in the DB of which problem they received 10 kudos for. Short of storing that information elsewhere there is no easy was to determine which problem they earned it on. The other possibility would be to store a separate entry in each member's profile for the highest kudos, and which ID, they have earned, but I'm not sure if we could justify the growth in the size of the DB just for this data.

I do also sometimes get a random Easy Prey award. It happens sometimes when i click on the progress bar. Can't find a way to replicate it but this has happened like 5 - 10 times in the last few weeks.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll keep an eye on it myself, but I can't imagine why this particular award is behaving this way.

For me it was some minutes ago, that I received the award again.
Maybe the list of the easiest problems changed recently.
Can you check this?

Here I am too:
You have earned 1 new award:
•Easy Prey: Solve twenty-five of the fifty easiest problems

Re: Errors/Warnings/Bugs
This is a strange one. I've made a change to the script for those two difficulty based awards which may have fixed the problem. Could someone report back if it happens again?

Re: Errors/Warnings/Bugs
I'm going to assume for the moment that due to what I think was going on you before (what I fixed), you had lost the award without realising it. Now you've gone back to your Progress page and it has been re-awarded. I am hopeful that you won't see it again, but please let me know if you do.

Re: Errors/Warnings/Bugs
You have a bug in the confirmation check - many times I enter correct numbers but the system rejects me. Here is an example:

I can't reproduce errors. Perhaps your answers are incorrect?

Re: Errors/Warnings/Bugs
If my answer is incorrect and I entered a valid confirmation code, the system tells me my answer is incorrect, not that my confirmation code is bad... I think its a check for the admins who could maybe force a specific code on the system (perhaps changing "javascript:this.src='captcha/show_captcha.php?'+Math.random();" to "javascript:this.src='captcha/show_captcha.php?55541';").
