Hi,
is it possible to obtain sources of Project Euler web application (i.e. the PHP code), preferably under an open-source license?
I'm teaching a course on functional programming and I'd like to set up a web site similar to Project Euler, but with problems aimed specifically at our topic.
Thanks for help
Petr

Re: Sources of the Project Euler web application
Hi Petr,
I am sorry, but at the moment the code is not suitable for distribution as it was never designed with open source in mind. However, a lot of work has gone into developing the website over the years and it has evolved into a highly functional and versatile interface, which could be adapted easily to meet many other needs. Consequently the team are currently considering a long term project to develop an open source version of the interface. Sadly this will not be any time soon and I would not even be able to give you a date as this is very much in the discussion stages. Announcements will be forthcoming when we have more news.
