Confirmation Code bug?

Post by kaimyn »

I've noticed something regarding the confirmation code recently. It's not a very big bug, in-fact, far from it. However, a bug is a bug, and I figure I'd mention it anyway.

Usually when I do a problem, I have the problem page open while I'm writing the code. I can have this page open for quite a while. Yet, there are times, not once or twice but frequently, where the confirmation code is said to be incorrect even if i have it exactly as the picture suggests. As this is not a rare occurrence, I have checked and found it to happen (there is an attached picture showing this). Always when this happens, the page reloads and I can enter it just fine.

It only happens when the problem page has been open for a while. A recent page does not do this.

Is there an explanation for this (say some time out mechanism)? Or is it just an error?

The CAPTCHA is only valid for a limited time, I think. So before submitting an answer, refresh to bring up a new valid confirmation code.

Okay, so it's a time out issue. Thanks
