Is it ok to do the problems in order?

I was reading the forum and I found this statement in https://projecteuler.net/about=private_locked
When people simply enter one answer after another in succession to several problems, they are not using Project Euler in the way it was intended ...
Yikes! My account is public, but all i have been doing is answering one question after another. I want to solve the first 100 and that seemed a fine way to go about it. Are we required to mix up the order? Why?
