Problem 860

Are there equal numbers of gold and silver coins, or is every possible starting configuration of stacks from all silver to all gold up for consideration?

There's nothing in the problem text explicitly saying it can't be unbalanced... but on the other hand it's a game and games tend to be played with equal numbers of each player's pieces.

Just a random thought as I started looking at this one; I assume actually reproducing the given results will make it obvious :)

There is no constraint on the total number of gold versus silver coins. The only requirement is that each stack have size 2.
