Project Euler Forum

I am planning on "cheating" i.e. read/understand about a Project Euler solution on the internet and re-implement it myself. For example, based on Project Nayuki or Stephan Brumme. Or if a solution is not available on internet then try LuckyToilet's solution page for an answer and hope the solution thread to the problem is well written, so I could understand and re-implement the problem solution. For example, I did this for Problem 793, and googlweknowall's post was very understandable ... so I was able to re-implement the solution. I spent about 4 hours yesterday night trying to fully understand how/why the solution to Problem 793 works and it was time well spent ... (I don't know, how long I would have had to wait for an 'aha' moment for this problem).

Could PE team consider implementing an open-book flag, so that the users who enable this flag (protected by a captcha maybe) do not have to worry about entering answers to difficult problems without having their accounts locked (disable the cheating detection code) ....
