Well, we could at least ask not to spoil solutions like that. I don't see the point in publishing the solutions. It's the opposite of the spirit this site instills.
The guy who published the solutions wrote something like: "hey, don't just look at them, solve the challenges yourself"... yeah, as if this was possible...
Bah, I don't get some people, really... it's a pity.

If we asked them to make the programmes accessible only to those who enter a correct solution to that question, would they do it? I fear, they'd consider it too much hassle.

I guess so... Also because the "purpose" of those examples is to show how python can be used to solve maths problems. I would go with a simple mail asking to remove the solutions and maybe we could search for a way to "protect" the problems on this site against spoilers with some license or so. Imagine what would happen if a 100% genius would have the brilliant idea of publishing all his or her solutions on a site: http://www.howicompletedmyjourneyonprojecteuler.com.
That would be a disaster, because when you have a solution you plug it in, you check the forum, get the idea of what was the best method to solve that problem and then it's easy to rearrange the code if you also wanna post your solution.
Personally the reason why it bothers me is because it could lead to unpleasant consequences on this site and I love this site. It is the only site that if you can't solve something you simply can't. You can't ask for hints on the forum, you can't pm other challengers, you just have to think and maybe do some research by yourself. These "constraints" made me learn about many many things during the time I've been a challenger here and it's a pity that this could be ruined for other people by some "private citizen" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Idiot) who doesn't understand why it is important not to spoil solutions like that.

There's nothing that can be done either from a legal point of view.

Yes! It is not only granted but it is encouraged for material to be shared and used freely for non-profit making purposes. But please read on...

The only thing which could be attempted may be for Euler himself to contact the author and plead with him to cease and desist from providing any additional solutions.

Really sad thing , I solved almost my first 50 problems with really really hard effort, and now you report that they are all cracked...

Really a sad day, neither I don't want to consider to visit these awful links , and however personally I go on making no expectations by those links.

I think that if someone is not able to solve a problem, the best thing ever seen on Project Euler is just to learn how to solve those problems ...
so why cheating them?!

Really, I don't understand the feeling of those cheats.
