Changing my profile

I tried to change my email address and preferred language, but my modifications are silently discarded. Safari 3.0.4/Mac OS 10.5.1

I tried changing my preferred language for my testaccount. (using Firefox)
Did not work. Stubbornly Scala is given.
As Admin changes are accepted. (using Explorer)

Yup, can also alter profile as admin, but not as normal user.
