I was messing around with the PyX package for python and made the Langton Ant animation. The one on wikipedia is better, but I figured I would share.
The file-size restriction made this small.

I have a 1000 steps version of this as well, and some cooler heighway dragon gifs if anyone wants them.

Anyone trying to use Golly to solve this: The ant itself is counted in the population when it's on a white square, but not when it's on a black square. Learned it the annoying way.
