As far as I can tell, the ordering of people with equivalent current performance in the list of Eulerians seems random. I think it would make more sense to order them by total number of solved problems.
Just a thought.

It may seem so to you, but it's not random at all: Those above you in the list have solved more of the 'recent' problems or have solved as many as you have but before you reached that number. Check this topic for the discussion that finalized the Eulerians ordering.
