I had been away from PE for several months, and upon returning to the statistics for my country today (Bulgaria), I was surprised to find that I had dropped down way low in the rankings.
I have a memory of being within the top 30 at some point, yet now I stand at number 81. I was very embarrassed to find this out, as I was exposed on my job interview "today" that I had "misinformed" my potential employer about my standing.

Was there a database mixup or something? Because I was clearly in the top 30, and I doubt that 50 Bulgarians have climbed above me in the 2-3 month period for which I was away from PE.

What is more, I can clearly recall some names which were above me in the Bulgarian standings, but others are completely unknown to me, despite them having "last solved a problem a huge number of days ago". Maybe some users altered their nationality to Bulgarian, despite being non-Bulgarians?

The exact same question was asked in the Summer 2017 Website Update Thread. I answer it a couple of posts down.

Logo's are cached, both on the site and in your own computer.
To force your computer to update the logo you could press <CRTL><F5> (At least in Internet Explorer)

I just discovered that according to your site, I solved problem 101. In fact, I do not remember having done so. My computer keeps track of the problems I have tried and this problem is also unknown to my computer. Moreover, I have not the smallest idea of how I could solve that really difficult problem !
It is the second time something like that happens. After having solved a problem (whose number I forgot), I was ready to try and solve another one which was very similar to the first one and I discovered that this second similar problem was considered as solved.
For those two reasons, I suspect there is a bug in your site, although I am getting older and older each year and maybe my memory is not what it was long time ago...

Could you double check if I really solved problem 101 and tell me the date of such extraordinary event ?

On the problem page (Problem 101 (View Problem)), below the answer you should see a text like "Completed on Sat, 18 Nov 2017, 01:10". Alternatively, on your progress page, put your mouse over 101 and you should also see the date and time in small font under the difficulty rating.

@Chimerade: According to your profile page you have solved #101, but you must have solved it before the website kept a timestamp of when the problem was solved. I'm not sure of the exact date, but I think the timestamp was introduced some time in 2015. There are a bunch of other problems that you must have solved before that date too. You'll know this because when you hover over the problem number - as traxex helpfully explained - it will say, "Completed on ____". If it doesn't say that, then you must have solved it a long time ago.

I think time stamps were introduced as early as January 2013. (That is almost 5 years ago.)

But I still do not remember...

You solved #144 and #145 in March 2007. (At least you made a post in those fora in March 2007).
So you probably solved #101 much earlier than 2007. You probably had another computer then. And not to remember if you solved a certain problem more than 10 years ago doesn't seem strange to me.

On my ProjectEuler.net "Progress" page, problem 617 isn't shaded green in the "Problems Solved" table although I've completed it.

It was reported in another thread, but thank you for taking the time to let me know. It should have been fixed now.
