Re: Errors/Warnings/Bugs
I really need a better way of handling these! Anyway, the new badge is now uploaded.

Re: Errors/Warnings/Bugs
I got a notice that I achieved a Centurion award but now when I go to my Progress|Awards page (https://projecteuler.net/progress;show=awards) the page is blank. The header is there but there are no awards showing up. Is this a bug?
Thanks to everyone who created this wonderful website and all the problems. I'm learning a lot of math and python programming!
UPDATE: the awards page is displaying now

Re: Errors/Warnings/Bugs
Thank you for letting me know. It was caused by a massive update today (Site Maintenance 2025). It should now be working.

Re: Errors/Warnings/Bugs
- When I click “Download solve history as CSV” on
https://projecteuler.net/progress;show=history
, I get an empty file - Unsure if intentional, but problems whose solve count is < 100 are no longer included in the tallies of per-difficulty problem counts on progress page.

Re: Errors/Warnings/Bugs
I've fixed the first one.
Not sure about the second one as I don't think the recent changes would have affected this. Could you give me an example of where a problem is not being included? Was it included before the changes a couple of days ago?

Re: Errors/Warnings/Bugs
I think @thedoctar is right - I've got a spreadsheet tracking the problems, including everything to compute the "Mean Difficulty of all rated problems" on the Progress/Problems page. Right now, that page shows 46.62% for that value. Up until a few months ago, unfinalized problems were not part of that calculation, but this changed and my spreadsheet is currently showing 46.88% for the mean difficulty, since I updated the spreadsheet to include unfinalized when the website changed. If I don't count the five unfinalized (910,942,943,949,963) in my spreadsheet calculation, I get that 46.62% instead, so it appears the website has reverted to the old method of not including unfinalized. The spreadsheet also tracks problems per difficulty level, and it shows 32 problems at 100% difficulty, not the 29 in the Progress/Problems Mt. Euler table, which indicates the website is no longer counting 910, 942, and 949 amongst the 100% problems in the table.

Re: Errors/Warnings/Bugs
Not sure what happened as I didn't deliberately change anything. I can only think I found a faulty conditional statement as I was doing a general tidy-up with the recent changes and without thinking about it too much it re-introduced the exclusion of problems that haven't met the threshold. I've change it so that will include all problems now, including those for which the difficulty rating has not yet been finalised.

Re: Errors/Warnings/Bugs
Is this working as intended? If I search the archives by level, it gives a page to each level, starting with 0. I was wondering what happened when I changed the sorting and it told me I'd solved all problems. I was viewing unsolved problems and it started with the page of level 0 problems. It took me a while to figure out what happened.

Re: Errors/Warnings/Bugs
I don't know if others have had this issue, but I solved a problem and it said I unlocked the new bonus problem, but when I go to the page it's still locked. Sorry if I just did something wrong!

Re: Errors/Warnings/Bugs
It looks like you've unlocked and solved 5/6 of the bonus problems already, so you know that you need to click the link to unlock it. Are you referring to the 6th bonus problem? Did you follow that link and it still remains locked?

Re: Errors/Warnings/Bugs
When I go to the statistics page, it used to be that I could read self-written descriptions of users in each league table, by hovering my mouse over some icon.
This icon no longer seems to exist, and I cannot read users' description.
Is this an intentional change?
If so I would like to voice my preference of having the little icon to read user descriptions.

Re: Errors/Warnings/Bugs
I think the Centenarian award is bugged. If I go through my history is shows 50 different dates for solving problems but if I go to the award it says progress = 48. Some times I submitted answers a few minutes after midnight in my time zone so these might not all have been counted, but sometimes I submitted one minute after midnight and it was counted. Also, I just submitted one at 8 am in my timezone and it wasn't counted.

Re: Errors/Warnings/Bugs
There has to be some standard, so the days/dates are counted using UTC. However, the idea of that particular award is to celebrate a member who has spent time solving problems on 100 different days. Obviously it's not perfect and some could take advantage of this, but solving a problem just before midnight and one after is still technically part of the same day. Just keep solving the problems and enjoying that experience. When that award eventually pops, you'll feel like you've earned something special, and rightly so!

Re: Errors/Warnings/Bugs
I think an img tag in a post of mine is getting stomped by the addition of your recent "Read more..." change to long posts. This is in PE325's forum, at https://projecteuler.net/thread=325;page=3#307114. The "Read more..." gets placed where I have an img tag, and if I expand to the full post, the image doesn't appear.

Re: Errors/Warnings/Bugs
Thanks for letting me know. It should be fixed now.
However, it opens a wider issue that we need to address. Due to online safety laws being introduced in different countries, it has impacted many hosts who are unable/unwilling to comply. If they deliver content to those highly restrictive regions, like the UK/EU, they would face fines. So since late 2025 they made a decision to block their content to those regions. Consequently, we have been unable to see any images hosted at imgur since that time. My temporary fix I've just added now is to route all images through a proxy, but I can't guarantee this will work indefinitely. I'll make a news announcement to encourage members to use other free repositories that do comply with these laws. For example, ImgBB, PostImage, Imgchest, and Imgbox.

Thanks for the nudge, euler. I knew about imgur's geoblocking issue but forgot to do anything about it. Time to move my images elsewhere and update 19 old posts.

@philiplu: Thanks for raising the issue at the Discord server. I've added to your message, but we still need to decide as a team the best way forward. Everything is currently working, so I would suggest holding fire on doing anything just yet until we can be more confident of the best approach.
