First of all: Our problems are meant to be solved by humans, in case you didn't know.
Please note that the warning you received was the first warning.
If you keep submitting answers in the rate you were submitting them you will recieve a final warning and the chances are likely that measures will be taken.

Hey there,
Thanks for the clarification earlier, @hk. Honestly, when I first saw the message, I panicked — I thought it was an account ban or something serious since I couldn’t read the full message properly.

As I mentioned before, I now fully understand what triggered the system. And How I am Solving and Submitting it . The issue was related to how I was submitting solutions — specifically, submitting answers designed to show my username in the progress tab table. I wasn’t trying to abuse the system maliciously; it was just my method of tracking progress. Obviously, that behavior got flagged.

I fully respect the rules now and understand how this impacted the system’s integrity checks. Going forward, I won’t use that pattern-based solving approach. I’ll handle one problem at a time, solve it cleanly, and submit without triggering any detection patterns.

That said, I’m genuinely worried — this platform affects my livelihood, and seeing the message “This account has been permanently unlisted” shook me hard. I never intended to break trust. I care about contributing fairly and being part of the community.

I appreciate your understanding earlier, but I’d like to know About this

Code: Select all

This account has been permanently unlisted
As clearly indicated in the Privacy Policy:
Most members take great pride in earning ranked position. To ensure that the public tables fairly and accurately represent genuine achievements, solve times for problems are automatically processed. Any accounts that are public and exhibit unrealistic patterns are flagged for review by the team and may be permanently removed from public view; accounts that remain private will not be flagged.
Your account is currently set to private status.
The following information will only be visible to you and any friends you have added.
Is my ranking permanently banned?

Is there any path to review, appeal, or recover visibility?

I respect the platform’s rules and the need to maintain fair leaderboards. I just hope there’s room for understanding that this wasn’t malicious — it was an unintended consequence of how I was interacting with the system.

Thank you for your time and understanding.

First of all, please be patient when waiting for a reply. You sent me an email and posted the same question in two different places.

We understand that you want to spell out your username on the problems progress grids, but that doesn't explain why you didn't just work through those problems naturally. Read the problem, spend time trying to solve it, then submit your answer, and move on to the next. You are also playing a dangerous game because it is likely one of those problems you need to complete a letter will fall on one of our most difficult problems. What then?

I have changed your account status to Private, which you can change if you wish. However, I suggest you take your time solving any further problems. If the system flags your account again it will be made private permanently.

Thankyou Admin really thank you for Understanding my case— Clarification on My Approach .

I was so worried about my account and My Situation and I acted hastly thinking my way of triaggring can disable my account So i made multiple post's. I didn't know support will be this fast

I sincerely apologize and appreciate your understanding and the consideration you've shown regarding my account status.
I want to clarify something important about this, this is the only thing that's hurting me ..

but that doesn't explain why you didn't just work through those problems naturally

i feel I am somewhat misunderstood of using AI in above Both Response from Admins
: throughout my work, I’ve utilized AI strictly as a research assistant not to put questions there and get answer.

I felt more heart broken about judgment by @hk Our problems are meant to be solved by humans, in case you didn't know. .There I mentioned how i used AI. I have mentioned the usage of it in my first Post .
Yeah i understand it's hard for to what to say like believe or something. But similar judgment for All user especially those word's really hurted me.

Code: Select all

then I Give it all to AI to figure it out which one is easier and what logic is used
I move with easier one and ofc i take the help of AI to craft the Code after spending hour's to check the implemented logic, making it more faster, etc
.
It might be my mistake of not explaining more clearly in my first Post because i was so worried of losing my account i can't think of anything at that time .

Code: Select all

If my goal was simply to shortcut problems, there are far easier ways, searching for pre-existing solutions online, for example. But that’s never been my intention.

I fully acknowledge that my approach — particularly the pattern-based submission method — may have triggered automated flags. That was not done with malicious intent, but I now fully understand how it might be seen that way.

And for this,

Code: Select all

You are also playing a dangerous game because it is likely one of those problems you need to complete a letter will fall on one of our most difficult problems. What then?
For me gaining Knowledge is all that matter's not that my Pattern i don't know why i thought about Pattern thing i am regretting now , I have left the challenge that i can't solve and in the area in which i am weak.

Those above Word's really hurted deep inside me like a never healing wound in my learning journey. , Moving forward, I will ensure my process stays fully aligned with both the letter and the spirit of the rules.
Thank you again for your fair response and for enabling me to continue learning here I am more happy about this .

Project Euler was founded in about 2005, long before any AI existed. people were able to solve our problems then too.
Many Project Euler members sincerely abhor from using AI in whatever way.
I'm afraid that there wil be many problems that are currently not solvable by AI.
Moreover:
The purpose of Project Euler is to teach you how to gain the knowledge how to solve those problems too.
Anyhow the possibilities of AI have our attention.
I strongly suggest that you leave your ideas about using AI to come any further at Project Euler. That's a dead-end road.

This is my last word here,
yeah i won't hestiate to say i am not qualified to debate with someone using twice my age time to solve problems here i have huge respect for them and there are new comers too who use Ai with both good and bad purpose
that need's to be Refreshed

-- IT's never ending debates on using AI
But one thing needs to be crystal clear before I log off ,,

TLDR :
Teacher provided ton's of Multiplication HW to Std's

Std A= Learned Only one Method from teacher , I will follow him and his method so

Code: Select all

    23
  × 47
  ----
   161 ← 23 × 7
  920 ← 23 × 40
  ----
  1081

   34
  × 82
  ----
   68 ← 34 × 2
  272 ← 34 × 80
  ----
  2788

      123
    × 456
    -----
      738
     6150
    49200
    -----
    56088

Std B = Takes Internet help , Search for Different trick's he found one shortcut

Code: Select all

  23 × 47 ⇒ (2*4) | (2*7 + 3*4) | (3*7)
             = 8 | (14 + 12)=26 | 21 , takes carry= 1081 ,

     his thought:
It's making my copy look bad i will do in rough and keep direct answer in Copy

3×8 = 24
(3×2 + 4×8) = 6 + 32 = 38
4×2 = 8
→ 2788
He tears his rough paper and take clean answer in copy .
so = 34
× 82
-----------
2788

123
× 456
-----
he leaves blank ,
But when 3-digit came? The shortcut didn't scale. He didn't fake it. Left it blank. Didn’t blindly copy.
-----------------
Std C = Uses Internet directly to copy paste answer ,Don't know what he's doing

Code: Select all

23 × 47 = 1081
34× 82 = 2788
123 × 456 = 132678
Next DAY :

Check's std C copy : hey u took Internet help you cant do this , You need to learn what i taught you and Gives him a Good lesson by scolding him ( He deserves it ) . .........U Failed

Check's std A copy : Good !! You did All by this that's my Boy , straight A++++++

Check's std B copy: Hey U also took internet help to solve all qns ?? Don't take ai help (( right from his side )

Std B : Teacher, I did took the internet help to I learned something faster which helped to solve all 2 digits,

I did rough in my next copy and to not make my answer copy messy I directly kept only answer
( Don't believe him , he got same Thought of Std C )

Again B tried to explain,Sir I learned method way faster for two digit sir , Which if i had one by that old method it would take much more time

Teacher: What will U do for 3 digit ? , You follow my old school method (he's Also Right for 3 digit)

______________________________
Teacher: Enforcing one-size-fits-all thinking. Forgetting that tools evolve with time, but fundamentals stay

Student B: Not wrong. Found faster ways where applicable, honest enough to admit limitations.

Student C: 100% wrong. Blindly copying with zero understanding.

What's and who's wrong here?

ANS: STD C who misued the AI Hey AI, what’s 23 times 47? and provided wrong impression, shadow to teacher of using AI Internet///
STD C provided bad image of AI to Teacher

Code: Select all

Student A, loves his method , enjoy the process more deeply , if he got 2 digit trick he might chance that too , ( it's his choice) it helps in 3 digit too

Student B, thought of solving , creating fast method for what he can , he don't take Internet help for filling 3 digit answer . It didn;t helped him in 3 digit

Student C , I will Solve all and I will be Popular , he learned nothing..

It's Prespective ,
(AI Image shadowed to teacher due to negative image created by Std C)
Gaining knowledge vs. gaining skills.
Using tech as a tool to mastery (Std B) vs. shortcut to fake points. (STD C )

Choice and road u take is of either std B path or std C if u use AI

I noticed two small things that I think need fixing:
1. In addition to the "partition" tag, there is also a "partitions" tag that only has one problem.
2. Following the change of the Syrian flag, I think the flag in the Locations section needs to be updated.

Thanks for the heads-up on the Syrian flag. I have updated it to match the flag found on the Wikipedia link you gave.

I have also passed on your message about the tag discrepancy: partition vs partitions, to the team.

The percentage calculation in the Tag Explorer seems incorrect. I solved a problem for 131 tags and it says they are 38.8% (instead of 90.3%).

Because of the updates to that section yesterday (viewtopic.php?p=73025#p73025), I needed separate percentage scores for the progress bars: visible and all tags. Previously there was only one percentage which had the same variable name as the percentage for your problem progress. So everyone would have had the same percentage for problems solved and distinct tags.

It should be fixed now.

When you solve a problem and advance to a new level, the statistics shown do not match the "Problems" section of the statistics.
As you can see in the image, it says that there are 744 members who have reached level 15, but according to the "Problems" section there are 878 such members.
I think the reason for this is that private accounts are included in the "Problems" section but not in the final screen.

Yes, there is definitely a mismatch. In the Statistics pages it includes private accounts on the front summary page and the Problems section because those numbers matter, but they're entirely anonymous. If you go to any of the other sections, like Levels, it will not include private accounts because at the moment you can see who those members are. In fact, using the Levels page you will note that there are 744 members with public accounts who are level 15+ (the total you saw when you solved the problem). It probably makes more sense to include private accounts when you solve a problem because it doesn't reveal who they are. However, there would still be a mismatch if someone checked the totals on the Levels section and that is confusing. With all the other changes we are considering at the moment, with respect to the FS table issue, one idea is to do away with seeing who is at certain levels, similarly with awards. Levels and awards are really private endeavours and it doesn't really make any sense to see who, especially as pages and pages of random usernames don't mean anything to the vast majority of members. Friends would still see which of their friends is at each level and which awards they have earned, but that's the point of having friends.

Thanks for your response.
First of all, I want to say that I'm definitely not trying to tell the team what to do, and I'm aware of the serious issues with the FS table.
But in my opinion, the site's statistics and the list of members at each level and award are one of its best features and it would be a shame to do away with them. Personally, I enjoy the statistics and like to see what other members are at my level and where they are from. Also, how can I add friends if I don't see them in the lists?

Regarding the mismatch , I think the sentence in the statistics could be changed to "found x public members" and that would avoid misunderstanding. If it's not too much of a hassle, you could even add an option to only show public members, similar to the option to only show active members.

Tags: hidden+ shows unfinalized problems that don't list their tags on their own page, eg:

Also, uau just reported getting "tag explorer" for solving the newest problem - I couldn't find any tags that showed any new problems like this, and I specifically remember it NOT happening for some tags on 923 while that was recent. But the search showing 910 is probably a bug, and getting "tag explorer" for recent problems could be considered a bug (or there could be other tag related bugs). Afaict, new problems don't contribute to the tag counts listed on about=tags (checked Nim and game tags)

Unfortunately, I'm unable to see that screenshot. All I see is: "Content not viewable in your region". The UK is slowly becoming a totalitarian state. The government's ridiculous over-reaching laws have forced many sites that display images, like imgur, to block content. They even prohibit Google's Gemini from generating or manipulating images of real people.

So, I'm not sure what part of the site you're referring to.

If it helps, it appears the image shows the user searched the archives for the tag "lambda-calculus". The rest is as he explained it. One of the problems that shows up is problem 910. I see going to the problem page, across the bottom it says "Problem matching / tags are not available for recent problems or problems that have been solved by less than 100 members."

Fastest Solvers of Last Problem Not acessable

Post by mr66 »

Hi,
Currently i get no active Link to the fastest solvers List of the latent Problem.
And when i use manually provided url, i get the following Message: The fastest solver tables should become visible when a solve threshold has been reached.

Is this a new Feature? Could Not find and hint in News.
I always used solving times in that table as an estimation for difficalty and whether i Night have a Chance for solving.
