edit - sorry, meant to post this in the bugs thread, though I guess this thread could potentially have some relevance.

I too received one for an old post quoted in an old answer.

On the progress page of someone who has solved two problems I see:

Baby Steps
Solve Three Problems
Progress: 2/25

Good spot, Robert. Could you check to see if it has now been fixed?

euler,
Today I made a post on a solved problem and posted my code. Unfortunately, the post did not automatically pick up my Python code. Could this be an error?

I used Python3.

As far as I remember the syntax parser uses your preferred language. That is Mathematica in your case.

There is a help page that explains how to format posts, and which includes a section about the code tag:

Yes hk. But atleast the tab (which expands to show the code in posts) will usually show 'Mathematica' irrespective of the language the code is in. In the case I quoted, it was empty.

Assuming that your post in Problem 611 (View Problem) is the post you are referring to: there we have nice Python tags.
I think you added them manually.
Please try to reproduce the error(?) (probably in some other thread).
If all goes well delete your post and tell us everything went well. If not tell us where we can find it.

I think I found out what the trouble of MuthuVeerappanR was(failing an answer by him):
when previewing the code tags in absence of a specified language are not filled with the preferred language.
However, when one posts it they are.

Apologies hk. I was not able to reproduce the error in a reliable way to make a post and hence the delay.

I'm pretty sure, even after posting, the tag was empty yesterday. But today everything seems fine. Thanks for checking it out.

When I looked at it yesterday all was fine already.
Besides: when your preferred language is Mathematica Python tags can only occur if you enter them manually as far as I know.

There seems to be a problem with the rendering of the extra info on the Eulerians page. In particular colons and underscores seem to cause problems.

The page https://projecteuler.net/about=friends contains "up to <?php print $max_friends; ?> friends".

Also a small feature request: It would be nice if /thread=N would redirect to /problem=N instead of /archives when the thread is not accessible (because I haven't solved the problem). It has happened a few times that I'm reading the thread for problem A, see people discussing problem B, and change the url to check it out, but neglect to change "thread" to "problem".

Nice spot, traxex, and thank you. Great suggestion about the redirect too. I've made the changes.

When we are looking at a problem and hover the mouse pointer over the right arrow at the top, the title and problem number of the next problem will be displayed.

Maybe because Problem 609 (View Problem) has a special character in it's title, the right arrow from Problem 608 (View Problem) (or the left arrow from Problem 610 (View Problem)) displays an empty (and slightly odd) box.

The special character in the title for 609 was a Latex one.
I replaced it with an html entity and the problem seems solved.
