What Programming Language is must?

Post by badar »

Hello,
I am new to Project Euler. I read some problems, they were beautiful. I have registered myself with the project. But I have a Question or two.
What programming language is required to solve these problems? I know Java, C++, PHP, JavaScript and some Python. And any suggestion on getting more benefits from using this project.

Thanks
Badar

Most useful are Java, C++ and Python.
Choose what suits you best, and be prepared to switch between these three if it suits you better.

I am a student of C++ language and more familiar to it by searching and practice different methods with C++.
But now i feel (after reading this thread) i have to learn PHP and Python also for more.

I'm new with the Euler community.
I'm surprised Groovy, a functional programming extension to Java, is not so used here, as it is very convenient to solve these kind of problems. Groovy syntax is very elegant and expressive, and the language it quite powerful.
F#, in the Microsoft environment, is certainly very efficient too.

Regards, Erix.
