Re: Errors/Warnings/Bugs
The website was down for maintenance an hour or two ago, and since it came back, at least two functions are broken. If I click on the number of solvers in the problem lists to see the list of fastest solvers, or if I click the pin in a problem page, I'm instead redirected to the archives page.

Re: Errors/Warnings/Bugs
I noticed a few weeks that the profile image link, https://projecteuler.net/profile/philiplu.png in my case, doesn't seem to work. It should show up in my signature automatically, and probably isn't currently working. Yep - it's not there in the preview. It's not universal - I see the signature just...

There isn't a typo. S(5) = 58, and all the other examples in the problem statement are correct.

Re: How Do I... Include image in forum post?
Imgur just announced some changes, mostly about no NSFW images, but they're also removing images that aren't tied to an account. Any chance you're uploading images without using an account? I've no idea how that's even done - all my images for forum posts are via an account, and those all show up fi...

Re: Errors/Warnings/Bugs
I just solved problem #837, and the green checkmark page informed me I just earned a new award, "Easy Prey: Solve the fifty easiest problems". Well, yeah, I got that one about 6 years ago :D And why's this showing up on a recent problem, not something in the archives? I have my suspicions,...

Re: [Request] Sort forum posts by kudos.
Already available, if maybe not obvious. At the top of the forum page, after the "n/5 Kudos remaining", there's an icon of stacked hearts with alt text "Show the best posts". Click that, and you'll get a page of all the posts with at least 1 kudo, sorted in descending kudo count.

Re: Problem 684
Does it mean that problems can get "promoted" to a more challenging difficulty tier? Problems do get their difficulty adjusted, up or down. This seems pretty rare. Difficulties are, from what I gather, mostly set by the speed with which a problem is solved early in its lifetime. But there...

Re: Errors/Warnings/Bugs
More a minor curiosity or caching issue than a real bug, I suspect, but I noticed something strange in the Big Game Hunter award recipients. There are currently 41 people in newly-created level 31, who have solved at least 775 problems, which mean they have at most 25 unsolved problems. That means t...

Re: PE0765
Nice find for the language in 267 , @pjt33. I'd agree that and 765 clearly have contradictory meanings for "double your bet". As @neverforget says, the interpretation in this new problem must be $x+b$, not $x+2b$, because assuming that let me get the checkmark :D Admins, might be nice to c...

Re: PE0765
Say I have x gram of gold and I bet b gram (0<=b<=x). If just considering one round, is it correct that I end up with x+2b gram if I win, and end up with x-b if I lose? Yeah, the "double your bet" in the problem statement seems ambiguous. I'm not sure if that means winning a bet of b gram...

Re: Errors/Warnings/Bugs
There's a minor bug in the Archives pages. Looks like it's possible to create a user name that's not displayable, and which breaks some of the page functionality. Take a look at this screenshot https://i.imgur.com/Wh9m9MB.png Problem 726 doesn't show the number of posts, nor the time since that last...

Re: Errors/Warnings/Bugs
I just noticed that the information over fastest solvers for a particular problem is displayed incorrectly whenever someone who has solved it in more than one week but less than two weeks enters the scoreboard, i.e. this occurs whenever less than 100 people have solved the problem within a week. Wh...

Re: Problem 741
Hi I am really confused about reflections and rotations if some one can verify for me how many unique and repeated pattern are there in 3 * 3 matrix I will be thankful Let me see if it helps to explain a bit more before giving out hint numbers. Consider the following 3x3 matrices: $ \begin{pmatrix}...

Re: Site Maintenance (Fri 29 Jan 21)
@philiplu: I think I've managed to fix those two issues. Still seeing a bit of weirdness in the Friends page. The mouse-over hover-text used to show how long it had been since the user solved a problem, but now it's saying how long it's been since the user was active, which I assume means logged in...

Re: Site Maintenance (Fri 29 Jan 21)
Progress/Posts now working. Seeing problems with the Friends page. The hover-text over a login ID, telling me when the most recent solution was submitted, is off. I'm seeing a lot of "<name> last solved a problem within the past day" or "... #n days ago" with n within the past we...

Re: Site Maintenance (Fri 29 Jan 21)
The Progress/Posts page is broken. Everything below the menu bar is missing, both on an iPad and Win10 (Google Chrome both places). https://i.imgur.com/zgLIjQB.png Update I guess you're actively working in the area right now. The behavior just changed - looks like before, except now I see "SQLS...

Re: Regarding difficulty for recent problems
Also, it has been mentioned in the chat forums before that new problems are usually posted in a regular cadence of difficulty, as perceived by the development team. You'll notice on the News page on the main site that the scheduled times for new problems are usually shown in groups of 6. Those probl...

Idea for new Archives display filter
You can currently filter the archives by All/Solved/Unsolved/Pinned. Any chance of adding a filter for problems which have a new forum post within the past day? You can already see those in the past day by the coloring, but it would be nice to collect them all tightly, rather than looking through 15...

Re: posting solutions of solved problems
I'd add to hk's comment with my own preferences: if you're going to post, please don't simply post the solution code without explanatory comments, however brief, except maybe if you're the first solution in a new language. When reading a post, I want to know what prompted your post without having to...
