Re: Program regularity

To be honest I would rather have a release every 2 weeks than the problem recycling. Im not even sure I get the idea. So a problem is recycled and made a bit different, but then all the people who have already solved this, will also solve the new version and for the people who havent solved it, it w...

Inconsistency on Project Eulers problems forum

While I see the reason why the name shown in the original Project Euler problems forum is the current alias, and the quoted name of such user is his first (original) username it can sometimes be hard to pinpoint responses between replies. What I mean is the following: Suppose someone says in his pos...

Re: Statistics on problems solved so far

Didnt feel like making another thread so I will just post this here. I think it would be a nice addition that the problem numbers would appear when you hover over the bar at some difficulty. Right now for example it says "Completed 11% of problems with difficulty rating 100%" but it can be quite tim...

Re: Errors/Warnings/Bugs

Hmm, I have it right above maintemance box.

It might be that after you delist yourself, there is no way to go back and this option dissapears.

This thing happens when you check country statistics for Poland:

I did not find any more examples of this bug.

EDIT: This only happens when active members statistics is on.

Re: Problem spoiling in solutions thread

Thank you Muthu. Its not only you though. I will send you an email if I find more spoilers in any of your posts. You make excellent posts just the referencing to other problems is off point.

Re: Problem spoiling in solutions thread

That is exactly the reason why I was reluctant at first to report the post since spoiling doesn't fall under any of those points. But there is no other way to point out the critical posts and make the work easier. However regarding to refering to earlier problems this kind of contradicts your mental...

Re: Problem spoiling in solutions thread

As Traxex and Muthu mentioned I agree that it is nice to also see the connection between the problems. The problem is that it does not feel good that previously to you unsolvable problem becomes easier because of a post in another thread mentioning one concept you have to use to solve that problem. ...

It was in the problem 586 solution thread and afterwards one member of the team nicely covered all the spoilers with the spoiler tag.

Problem spoiling in solutions thread

I know I have complained about this before but since it still bothers me I will raise this subject again. There are certain users who spoil other problems in another problems thread. They probably don't do it on purpose but maybe just assume that everyone that has solved that problem has also solved...

Distinguish active users from nonactive

When you are checking the statistics you are mostly interested in the active part of the community. Although I agree that it is great that all the users are considered in the rankings, I think it would be nice if there was a way to quickly distinguish between active users from nonactive ones. I am t...

@MuthuVeerappanR: I don't know if you'd picked up on some of the hard work I've been putting in over the Christmas break? You can now have up to three persistent logins. 8-)

I would guess Muthu is timing out because he is accessing PE from different devices. Everytime you switch a device, you will be logged out on the other.
