Remember my login...?

Hi,

Does anyone else have to log in every time they visit these forums?

I have tried logging in using the link in the top right and with the button at the bottom of the Board Index page and every time I tick the box that says "Remember my login" (or something) but it never works.

It's annoying because I like to view the Problems board and re-order it by subject heading so I can find the correct thread easily and you can't do this without logging in.

Anyway, I was wondering if this just happened to me or does it happen with other people also?

I use other forums on this computer and they do remember my login.

It doesn't happen to me.
It may be that your browser cookies are messed up. Try deleting all the projecteuler.chat cookies, and then logging in again, hopefully permanently.

I deleted all the forum.projecteuler cookies but still it isn't working.

Oh well...

Actually, I might try it on IE instead of FF.

... nope, IE doesn't work either and I've never visited these forums on IE before.

The "Remember Me" feature on this forum stores a session profile in the database which includes your IP address. The only thing I can think of at the moment is that you are masking your IP address in some way?

Ah, that will be the problem.

I'm on the work network at the moment which will have various firewalls and stuff hiding that info.
